College Recruiting at PriceKubecka
Our intern recruiting process is straightforward: We want to meet you at your college career fair and get to know you as an individual, because you aren’t just another number to us. This is why we do not accept online applications. We want to meet you!
If chosen for an interview, we’ll invite you to interview with us sometime over the next few days at your campus (or our office). Next, we will invite you for an office visit at our headquarters in Addison, Texas. During this visit, you will be able to see our office and enjoy lunch with members of our tax or audit department. An offer will be extended if we feel that you would be a valuable addition to our team and that our company can help you advance your career goals long-term.
During your time with us, you will work on numerous client engagements and learn the art of exceptional client service. You will also learn to understand the client’s needs and deliver quality solutions. You will be exposed to a variety of projects and challenges sooner than you might somewhere else, have access to our wide array technology (and our treadmill desk), and function more like a professional than an intern. This internship will actually help you grow as a professional, as opposed to being locked in a backroom for months doing the same thing every day with other interns. No coffee fetching, no grunt work. Just real-world experience, real-world deadlines, and real-world expectations.
“Before landing an internship with PriceKubecka, my previous internship was with a Big Four accounting firm in the midst of busy season,” said Amy Sac, during her internship. “After this experience, I found myself loving what the career entails, but looking for a firm with a suitable work-life balance that could also provide me with ample opportunities to grow my career. Within my first month, this internship has given me a full taste of what it is like to work at a firm like PriceKubecka, and I am loving it!”
Amy currently works at PK as an auditor, in fact all of our new hires come from our internship program.
Ultimately, if your internship is a success, we may extend an opportunity for you to come back and join us permanently after college. Sound interesting? Check out which colleges we will visit this school year below.
