Tax Internships: Shape the Future of Public Accounting
Prepare individual and corporate tax returns to meet government requirements and deadlines, and client expectations.
Prepare individual tax projections to ensure proper tax planning for the client.
Prepare payroll tax reports and property tax reports to ensure compliance.
Maintain a working knowledge of individual and corporate tax laws.
Respond to tax inquiries from clients and government notices.
Perform other accounting duties as necessary to meet the responsibilities of the position and client expectations.
Audit Internships: Challenge the Conventional
Prepare analytical reviews of account balances between calendar years.
Test cash, A/R, inventory, fixed assets, A/P, debt, accruals, revenue, COGS.
Prepare various levels of financial statements including compilations, reviews and audits.
Continual feedback from mentor, partners and firm leadership.
Qualifications:
⚫️ Must be majoring in accounting
⚫️ 70 credit hours completed
⚫️ U.S. Citizen or Legal Resident
⚫️ Full-time student, senior status in a four-year accounting program from an accredited university
⚫️ Outstanding academic performance with a minimum overall GPA of a 3.0 required, a 3.2 GPA preferred
